DrTun LMS is a learning portal for enrolled course students. The Android app opens the same LMS service at lms.drtun.com and uses the same LMS account.
Account and Profile Information
- DrTun LMS administrators create student accounts. We use your name, email address, user ID, login and session information, course enrollment, and course role to provide access.
- If you choose to provide them, we may store profile information such as a photo, short biography, address, or location.
- The app does not offer public self-registration and does not ask for your LMS password outside the DrTun LMS sign-in screen.
Learning and Communication Information
- We process lesson and chapter progress, quiz answers and results, assignment status, course access, live-session access, and permitted offline-download status.
- Discussion posts, replies, and other course communications are visible to the course participants and administrators allowed to view that course. Your current profile name and optional profile photo may appear beside your posts and replies for those authorized participants.
- Your login email address, internal user ID, and private profile-photo storage path are not shown beside discussion content.
- We use this information to deliver assigned courses, show progress, support students, protect course access, and operate class features.
Notifications
- With your permission, we use a Firebase Cloud Messaging token or browser push subscription to deliver course and class notifications.
- We may process installation ID, app version, device or browser metadata, notification delivery status, and failure information to deliver and troubleshoot notifications.
- You can disable notifications in DrTun LMS or your device settings. Sound, vibration, and pop-up behavior depend on your phone and Do Not Disturb settings.
Offline Storage
- When you choose Save for offline, permitted lesson videos, PDFs, live-class recordings, download progress, and related course metadata are stored in the app's private, account-scoped storage on your device.
- Offline resources remain subject to your course access. If access expires or is revoked, an already-downloaded file is locked rather than automatically deleted; an approved renewal and online access check can unlock it again.
- You can remove saved resources in the app or by uninstalling the app.
Google Meet Live Classes and Recordings
- When an administrator enables recording for a Google Meet class, the recording may contain participant voice, video, screen sharing, chat, display names, and other information shared during the class. A recording notice is shown in the LMS; Google Meet may also show its own notice.
- Recordings are stored in the connected organizer's Google Drive and DrTun LMS stores only the protected class and recording metadata needed to authorize access, show recording parts, and manage publication or deletion.
- To make an approved recording stream or download work, its Google Drive file may be shared as anyone-with-the-link read-only. DrTun LMS does not display that raw link, but this is access control rather than DRM: a technically capable user may extract or share it outside the app.
- Do not disclose patient-identifying, confidential, or other sensitive personal information in live classes or recordings.
Service Providers and Sharing
- DrTun LMS uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services; Cloudflare for application delivery and security; and Firebase for Android notifications.
- Course media may be delivered through YouTube or other administrator-approved media providers. Zoom or Google Meet may open outside the app for live sessions, and Google Drive may deliver approved recordings. Those services process data under their own privacy terms when used.
- We do not sell personal information, use student data for third-party advertising, or show third-party ads in DrTun LMS.
Security and Retention
- DrTun LMS uses encrypted network connections in transit and limits administrative access to authorized people. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
- We retain account and learning information while it is needed to provide the course, maintain accurate class records, secure the service, or meet legitimate legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified.
- If you report discussion content or a member, we store the report reason, optional details, a limited content and author snapshot, course and account identifiers, moderation status, and administrator action. Closed safety records are retained for up to 12 months for abuse prevention and accountability, then deleted or de-identified through the cleanup process.
- Your blocked-member list is private to your account and is used to hide that member's discussion content and discussion notifications for you. Other students and the blocked member do not see your list.
- Session data, device notification tokens, and locally saved resources are removed or invalidated when they are no longer needed, when the applicable app action removes them, or when an approved deletion request is completed.
Your Choices and Account Deletion
- You may edit available profile fields, sign out, disable notifications, remove offline resources, or ask support to correct your account information.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data. We may verify that the request comes from the account owner and may retain or de-identify limited records when required for security, legal compliance, or course-record integrity.
- DrTun LMS provides medical reference and educational content for enrolled students. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a substitute for professional medical care.
